Lip primer?

I found the perfect color that I've been searching for forever. Unfortunately it's a cheaper brand that I bought at WalMart for less than $2 so it doesn't stay on as long as I'd like. I don't have a problem reapplying through the day, but for the wedding it's just not possible. I've seen lip primers rec'ed by some of the girls on this board so I'm wondering where I can find a decent one? Preferably not more than, like, $10 since it's not something I would continue buying. I just want a decent one that will help my lipstick last longer on the wedding day.

I don't know of any drugstore brands that make one.

You can get a clear lip liner and fill your lips in with that. I believe Maybelline makes one that should be under $10. You can also fill in your lips completely with a lip liner that is close to the color lipstick you are wearing. That should help a lot.

Forget lip primer. Make sure you are well-hydrated, then use a good lip balm like Carmex undreneath your lip liner and lipstick. It moisturizes, but sinks in enough to let your color stay put on top of it. Learned that from my boss. (Emmy-winning hair and makeup artist.) Stay gorgeous!
