I've been a lurker for a while, posted a little bit, but not often.

I'm Mandi, 29, soon to be engaged to the love of my life. This will be a second wedding for both of us. We each have 1 child from our previous marriages, boys, and have 2 furbabies and some fish.
So, hi... can I play, too? I swear I'm not judgmental, though I can't say for sure that I'm not a hag... Undecided

    You're the only one who seems to think I'm judgmental... 
    The growing number of those who relate to what I was saying, and have "taken my side" so to speak, would speak to the fact that I'm not judgmental, just a concerned sister. 
    Personally, I think you need a hug, with all your finger pointing and nonsense.

    Yup. This is exactly. I was saying my own comment wasn't necessary. JCB is right, Mandi. You sound judgmental (and way, way, WAY overinvoloved in your FSIL's life) in the other thread.

    Also, FYI, shenanigans like running to one board to bitchily vague knot about your experiences on another board are petty, immature, and ridiculous.

    meh, maybe I am a jerk. But, I'm kinda ok with that. However, I'm really not judgmental, rude, or trying to make waves. If I seemed judgmental or bitchy or overinvolved in my pervious post on E, my apologies; wasn't my intention. Was just a little shocked in the moment. Next time I'll bite my tongue and cool my jets before I post. 
    Thanks for the reality check from all of you, you're probably right; I was a little (see: a lot) upset over something that was, in reality, NOT my problem, and hardly my business. Apologies to all I may have offended.

    I don't think your intro was necessary. Why couldn't you stick with the I'm new here? I agree with the PP who said you shouldn't go from board to board posting the drama you had. This makes me think you wanted to start drama on here. I don't know much about the SB page but I can take the hint based on the title. I feel like you thought the women you offended would be on this board and you could take it up on her. I read your OP and commented. I feel like everyone else. LET IT GO. It's not your wedding and whatever happens happens. It's on her, not you.

    I don't think you're judgemental or a hag. Problem is you were on the wrong board. I know it's pretty ironic but the Etiquette board harbors the rudest bunch here that pick on "judgemental" people by "judging" what they think is wrong with the original comment. It's pretty hilarious actually. There's like these back and fourth cyber-cat-fights where people get all butt-hurt. Defending/ explaining yourself is only feeding their need for confrontation. Maybe yours, too. Idk, everyone's got their thing right?  I usually only check out the Etiquette board when I'm bored to death at work.... Which I am now because it's Columbus Day and this place is dead.
