coordinating colour in the wedding

Hi ladies,

So I'm using mint green and brown for my wedding. I can't believe how many different mint shade there are. The girls dresses are in mint. I'm using tissue paper for my wedding favour but it's in bright green because I could not find anything that matches with the fabric swatch of the dress. They were either really bright green or dark and everything else in between just did not look right. I already bought the tissue. Now my menus and table numbers are in a diffrent shade of green too. It's called luminary green.

Now I wanted everything to match but this is not happening. do you think this would look weird? do you think people would really care. It's just so time consuming to find the exact shade of the green to match with the girls' dresses and I just don't want to spend my energy on it since my big day is so close.

I really don't think people will care.  If you are really stressed, you can add in some white, but I think the green will look great!  Not worth the worrying, I swear!

    1. No one will care. I will bet my life on it!
    2. I think it actually makes for an even better look. I mean, it takes no creativity to make everything match exactly.

I ditto everything ringy said.  Using different shades will give everything more depth!

Ask your florist to work different shades of greens into your florals...that will help to incorporate the idea of multiple greens in the colour scheme...mint green could still be the focus but by having a couple/few shades in the florals (which is an easy, and natural kinda thing to have happen), it will all seem intentional.

I'm using white hydrangeas, jade green roses, dark green leaves , white long strands of flowers in the centrepiece so yes there will be variety of colours in there but still has that green. Mind you though the jade green roses sort of looks similar to mint but still very light in colour.

    Thanks ladies

I agree with PP. Your wedding will look great and guests will not worry about the small details!
