Wedding Invitations & Paper

Invitation Templates for Cards and Pockets?

I think I'm going to make my invitations using Cards and Pockets but I can't seem to find any templates I can use to print the details on the inserts, etc.  Suggestions anyone?

  • I don't think you need a template. You should just set up your page size in whatever computer program you use to match that of the paper you order.
  • Previous poster is correct that it's not really that difficult to set up the page specifications in the program you choose (I recommend Publisher, Free Serif Page Plus, or Photoshop). But if you aren't very computer savvy, Squirrly has Word and Publisher templates in her bio.

We miss you and love you always, little firecrackers!
  • Note: Word will capitalize the first letter of each new line, whether you want it or not. Just go back and change them to lower case.

  • The 'templates' section of cards and pockets is currently under construction.

You order the invitation and inserts, cut the inserts to your desired length if you want, we got an Etsy designer (DesignsMadeEasy) to do the designs on our invite, monogram, rsvp and reception card (total $30) - she sent us the final pdf version so we just buy the cardstock and print away....you can email her the desired measurements.
  • Ya, I know how to change the sizes in Word and set that up... I just need some kind of design to print otherwise they'll be really boring because I don't know how to do that part!  I'd love to not have to pay someone to do it (not even $30 if I can avoid it!) that's why I'm looking for templates.
  • The moderator here (squirrly) has templates under her: How we planned a DIY Wedding BIO....
  • I sent you a private message.

  • I'm planning to use cards and pockets too, probably have them print out everything, and then use stamps from impressrubberstamps.com to decorate them. I have no clue when it comes to graphic arts so I'm going this route.

  • I've taken a look at and like these websites:

But I can't give reviews because I've not used any of them before.
