Rainbow Wedding, anyone?

I am stuck trying to choose colors for my wedding. I am into bright colors and all I know is I'm looking to stay away from muted tones (navy, maroon, olive green, etc). Is anyone doing a rainbow wedding or having their bridesmaids wear different colors? My mind changes daily on what I think I want. The three options that are most appealing to me and I keep going back to are:

1) True rainbow wedding (magenta, orange, lime green, pine green, deep turquoise, royal blue dresses)
2) Shades of blue/green (sea green, pine green, jade, dark turquoise, royal blue, aqua)
3) Everyone in aqua dresses with red shoes & flowers

I have 90% settled on the line of dresses (Alfred Sung with peau de soie fabric) - short styles - haven't decided if everyone will have the same cut. I saw many of their colors in person and they are bright and pop, just how I like! Thoughts/opinions?

That might actually be really fun!!! As long as you don't over-do the rainbow colors too much and have small touches of different colors everywhere, it could be really cute. I think rainbow might also work since it's an August wedding ... if it was another time of year, I feel like it probably wouldn't work. I'd say go for it if you love it!

I think that it would be a totally fun and unexpected way to hold your wedding but i'm going to warn you a lot of paper products you will see may have "GLBT pride" on them.

All of my BMs are wearing different colors! Our main focus is on fucshia and mango orange, so my MOH is wearing fucshia, the one next to her is wearing mango, then I also have one in lemon yellow, and one in apple (light) green. Not exactly a rainbow, but it's a little different. I too wanted to to stay away from the muted/dark colors, and do something bright.

I couldn't decide either so all my bridesmaids are going to be different colors! Basically, they can pick any solid color dress except black or white, about knee-length. I have five bridesmaids and between red, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple, brown, silver, pink, etc- they should all be able to pick out a color they like! I feel like our pictures will be unified by the bouquets and the five groomsmen dressed in the same color- plus, then they have a dress in a color they like and could wear again instead of something that is completely not their taste!

I went to a small wedding which was in rainbow colors and the only thing rainbow was really the bridesmaids. She did have 9 bridesmaids and no groomsmen, and it was pretty cool seeing all the colors.

I think that a rainbow wedding, done right, is fabulous!

I like the idea of a bright color pallete, but not so much the rainbow. It's all about personality, though, as the links that others have posted clearly show that the brides got the wedding they wanted. A rainbow wedding has a certain artistic avant garde feel, and that has to be what you want for it to work well for you.

I personally would pick sea glass colors. Having the brides all in different shades is really cute, though!
