Rant:  I gave my FI my cold Cry  His Bachelor party is tomorrow, and I feel like the worst FIe EVER.  Please send my FI vibes that he starts feeling better ASAP.  TIA!!!

Rave:  4 more weeks until Will & Kate's big day!!!!! I <3 Royal Weddings.... they're a good distraction from my own, which is 8 days after Wink

Rave #2:  I can now officially say that NEXT MONTH I'm going to be an OMH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Cool  So excited!  I feel like I'm developing horrible "Senioritis" when it comes to wedding planning, it's harder and harder to focus on all the details and get stuff done, but I'll do it.

Rant: Found out one of my dearest friends, who's seen me through heartbreak and bad releationships for almost 20 years, won't be able to attend the wedding!  Her husband booked their (nonrefundable) summer vacation w/o checking her calendar.  Needless to say we're both ticked at him (but it was an honest oops).  On the upside, we'll get together before to celebrate and after so she can see the pictures.

Rants #2: FI is still fussing about the number of people invited to the wedding.  He doesn't like being the center of attention and he's starting to fuss about the budget.  I did remind him we had talked about the budget and we are under! He seems to think a wedding cake for 250 people should cost less than $250! He's forgetting that I got the photographer for $500 and the flowers are a wedding gift from some friends, and my dress and accessories are under $300 - so far that is saving us $1500 off our original budget!  Frustrating though I can understand as

Rant #3: I may have a temporary lay-off after next week (still waiting to hear) so the budget for the wedding, and everything, may shrink.  Hopefully if we do shut-down (federal employee) it will only be for a week.

Rave: My sister and MOH flies in today and tomorrow is dress shopping with her and my BMd and future step-daughter!

Rave #2: Sunday is my first bridal shower and a friend I've not seen in a couple years will be there!]

So a few postive things to balance out the rants! Laughing

    Rant:
One of my BM is also getting married this year (that's not the rant) But, her MOH said she'd plan the bachelorette party. And this gal has done NOTHING!!! Another BM and I are are teaming up to plan it all: destination, flight, hotel, and the works. I don't mind helping, but seriously the date we chose is May 7th!! That's a month away. I just want to make sure my friend has a totally outrageously fun time!! Which now that I'm part in charge, it will be.

    Rave:
Doing our DC engagement pictures tomorrow. The cherry blossoms are in bloom, and we need a bit of sunshine :)

I work with a student who is autistic, and she has made such amazing gains this year!! I am so proud of her, and give major props to her team of teachers!!

RANT: FI bought a pack of cigarettes. Sooo frustrating when he agreed to not buy any more (still bum some here and there) but he's been trying to quit for over two years. He knew well before he proposed that I would not be happy about marrying a smoker, and if he wants to stick with me, he'll lose the addiction. Yes, I know ALL about how it takes many many times for a smoker to really quit for good. I guess the rant is more on me, because I allowed myself to get my hopes up because he was doing SO well! Please no snarky remarks on this, it really is just a rant.

Rant #2: We're getting close to the year mark before our wedding date. We've gotten a few things chosen here and there, but just small things. We haven't found the time to get any of the big stuff actually done. So much for having a 16 month engagement...

Rave: I've almost healed enough from ankle surgery to get back to the gym and on track to getting in shape (and more motivated to go dress shopping.)

Rant:  Having one of those days where I really wish that FI and I didn't work in the same office.  He asked me not to go to lunch with a group of people because of an issue I have with one of the girls going, and it really hurt my feelings.  First of all, I would never EVER be unprofessional and say/do anything to this girl.  Second of all, she is the one who has the issue with me, which has to do with FI's and my relationship (which is none of her business, and totally a double standard that she still likes him but not me).

Rant:  WTF is up with this weather?  I know we live in Seattle, but come on, this is just depressing!

Rant:  Was up half the night last night with heartburn, I have been having it a lot lately and need to get it checked out, because I do not do well without a full eight hours of sleep!

Rave:  It's Friday.  And my little sister is home from college so we are having a girls day tomorrow and then a family dinner.

Rave:  Just under four months to the big day!

@Meganhardan - I too was hving bad heartburn and the doctor said it was stress.  Gave me a prescription and it's helped - said I'll likely go off it after the wedding (and really my stress is work induced so after I find a job that's better suited to me).

@Sharingourlove-- I bet that's what it is for me.  Between a really busy work schedule, wedding planning, and family stuff, my stress is at an all time high.  I'm definitely going to go to the doctor and see about getting a prescription, especially since you said it helped you. Thanks so much for the advice!

Rant: I am def not okay with all of the b!tchyness going on in my office. After 8 months, one girl has taken it upon herself to tell me how to do my job. really? It's really annoying because it's not like she's helping my performance. urghhhhhhh

Rave: Tomorrow the FI and I are going to learn about amateur car racing and some local autocrossing. then Lunch somewhere in Bellevue, no idea where though. And even better, going to the Fiat dealer in Kirkland. But Fiat website says it wont be open until April 30, but FI said the dealer website says it's open now. sooooooo I might have to go buy a Fiat tomorrow. HAHAHAHA I hope I have the mind to not buy one. but we'll see
