Day-of Coordinator

I would love to have a day-of coordinator because I know I am going to worry over every little thing that day and I really don't want to! Have any suggestions that are reasonably priced? TIA!

We didn't go with a wedding day-of-coordinator but we're hiring someone from Best Friend Errand to just generally do the pick ups, drop offs, and stick together with me in case of last-minute tasks.

I hired a week of corrdinator and so far she has been great!! I have the same feeling you do in not wanting to worry about anything on my wedding day and I also didn't want my mom or sisters having to take care of a lot of things on my wedding too. Check her website out http://www.weddingsbykatiev.com/home.htm

I just heard about this lady.  She's new to the business and still very reasonable.  Her name is Michelle Kenne - here's her website:

@clearheavens - How has your experience been with Best Friend Errand Service so far?  That's a really great rate for their services.  I need someone to act as a point person for our caterer, to assist with replenishing drinks and cutting cake, and helping remove centerpieces and linens from the tables after the wedding.

<div>I spoke with Sue over the phone and she seemed very confident that this was not a problem for her.  I also named very similar tasks for her to do like you mentioned.  The gimmick is that she doesn't specialize in weddings.  But she has had experience in her current job at a wedding before.  I found out about her from Receptions Inc.'s blog who recommended her.  (I stalk my vendors' blogs.)  She did say that if you mention me (Theresa) or whoever you hear it from you get 10% off your total.  I can tell you more after I meet her in person in June and after my wedding in July.</div>

I've always heard that the girls at Cincy Event Planning are wonderful.  I haven't had any personal experience with them but a lot of ladies who I know used them for their weddings & were very happy with their services.  Good Luck!

I used Jen at Your Wedding By Jen.  Her prices were reasonable and it was really really nice to have her take care of things a few days before the wedding and then the day of the wedding.  I recommend her.

Definitely look up Lindsey Dyan Mesa.

She's awesome and AFFORDABLE. Not pushy, so feel free to email her. The moment I met her I knew she'd be a huge help without taking a chunk out of my budget. Good luck!

Thank you to all who have posted about me.  I have now started adding more "day of" and "week of" wedding customers and I LOVE IT!  I have found that our service is the perfect fit for the well organized bride who has handled most of the planning herself and just needs help in the end when she is ready to enjoy her big day and leave the rest to us.  Thanks for all the positive posts!
