Texas theme welcome bags

Any ideas for what I can include in my Texas theme welcome bags to family and friends staying at hotels here?

Besides for the usual (water bottles, granola bars, etc) I was thinking TX sized jelly beans, but after that I'm a little stuck.  Any suggestions?

  • Texas pecan pralines, Jose T. Garcia's salsa, Texas-shaped chips

  • Make sure you keep in mind that anything you give your guests has to travel with them.

I know my MIL put mini wine bottles in her guest bags, but I don't remember what else.  You might do Dr Pepper barbecue sauce if you can find small bottles.

  • For my hostesses for our Arkansas shower, I gave them Joe T Garcias salsa, pralines, and wine from Messina Hof.
If you go to Central Market, they have TONS of Texas themed food.
  • Great suggestions!  I've lived here almost 4 and a half years and han't heard of Joe T Garcia, I'll have to check it out!

  • I did pecan pralines in a cute box with a Texas flag on them. Everyone loved them. The info. is in my bio.

It's okay, I'm born and raised in Texas...and never heard of it.

  • I figured out the issue, it's in Ft Worth.  Must make my way there before I move!
  • I have never heard of them either.  All of the traveling guests are from Texas, but from WEST Texas, any ideas for Dallas things to put in a welcome bag?

  • I love all your ideas, thanks ladies
