So, thank you all for your help with my dilemma yesterday.
I ended up calling the venue today and booking the room for the rehearsal night and night of the wedding. It's an extra $300 but even FI agreed that its worth it. I will make it more worth it though. I figure ill go down in the afternoon after I pick up my dress and check in and leave my dress and everything I need for day of there. Then, head back up do my mani-pedi as planned and then go to the rehearsal. After the rehearsal, me and at least one of the BMs will go back to the hotel and have a sleepover. Wedding morning, I'll wake up with whoever stays, get breakfast and mimosas overlooking the ocean then drive the 45 minutes to get my hair and makeup done. Then head back to the venue to relax, have lunch and then really get the day going with photos and such.
Yes, the extra $300 for the hotel sucks, as does the gas money going back and forth. But I think, overall, this should be more relaxing.
