You have furbabies, which means I will not say welcome until you post pictures. I'm so glad you posted this here. Any intro posted in the sticky is usually lost and rarely read.
FFIL and FSIL think there is a lanudry fairy. She has actually written them nasty letters before. LOL
I love french fries covered in cheese, but I'm not the OP, so I doubt that counts. dang now I'm gonna be waiting a LONG half hour for lunch.
To OP, welcome! And I would laugh really hard if I found a ring in our townhouse, haha. I can just imagine it now...
I guess, to tell you the truth, I've never had much of a desire to grow facial hair. I think I've managed to play quarterback just fine without a mustache. - Peyton

Welcome! I am so afraid if I look around to much I might find a ring to, so I try not cause I know I would hate myself! Only cause I would be driving myself insane knowing that he had it. Have you tried the ring on? haha
Also, jealous that you've gotten your SO hamper trained, FBD doesn't understand the concept. He has piles.

I don't know what is bumming me out more: the fact that you never finished the series or the fact that you're calling it "cute". I will have to devote my time here to making you read past Prisoner.

my FI is half-hamper trained... certain things make it in the hamper, and certain things do not... like socks and underwear. but everything else does. a little weird to me!
I won't give you my whole speech because most people don't care, but I can't resist telling you that, if you stopped after the 3rd book, you're missing the best, deepest parts of the series. It's really amazing how much the books change as the series progresses.
That's all I'll annoy you with. For now. *Dun dun dun*

What is it with men and socks??? I find them EVERYWHERE and there's never matching pairs. I can't tell you how many socks I've bought him because his are falling apart. He gets huge blisters from all his running, and yet still won't wear the nice socks I buy him, just the threadbare old ones that have holes in them.
We have piles - we put most stuff in the laundry, but wet towels go on the floor so they don't make everything smell like mildew. And I make him keep his workout clothes in the shower of the extra bathroom (I put a small hamper there, but the clothes go everywhere anyway). And then he has his "corner" where he stuffs just about everything else.
Oh, and he thinks the living room is a place to lay the clothes he's worn once and wants to wear again.
My BF thinks that socks go on the floor right next to the hamper, actual clothes go in a pile by the bed, and his underwear next to the shower.
I've gotten to the point where I put the hamper in the middle of the living room right before I start laundry and tell him if it isn't in there in ten minutes it's not getting washed. Which is sometimes a bad thing, but oh well.

we have lots of mismatched socks as well... i've been finding them pushed under the bed lately. it's like a search and rescue mission, i swear.
