Venue Help Again

Hey everyone! I am needing Venue help in the Douglasville/Villa Rica area please! It's a small budget only around 1K, is there anything? I have booked the Sunset Ranch which is perfect for an outdoor wedding, and we had the church just in case, now the church we booked is going under and may not be there by the time we get married.

This has been one headache after another! Does anyone have any ideas?

On a positive note we have picked out our invitations, now I just need an address to put on them! Smile

Thanks!

I am amazed that you can find a venue so inexpensive in Atlanta!

Does your reception site have any suggestions for a backup indoor place?  I'd imagine they do?

Did you see that Douglas County was building a new multi-million dollar conference center? (But I don't know its completion date.) What about the Ford Center in Powder Springs, or is that too far for you guys?

There is a pretty park around there - can't remember the name - for an outdoor wedding, and the reception/indoor back up could be the Ford Center.  It was very VERY inexpensive when my brother and SIL had their reception there.

It is very difficult, if it were up to I would up the budget to at least $2,500 but since my grandparents are paying that just won't happen. I have offered to help, but they want us to save our money, which is good but not really helping. No they don't, they insist that if it rains we could have the ceremony in the dance hall of the ranch, where the reception will be. But I just really don't see that'll be doable.

I haven't heard about that, I wonderful how much it'll cost to rent or when it will be finished. I think Powder Springs is too far, it looks like we're staying in Douglas County or at least Villa Rica.  I will certainly ask my grandmother though, since she is holding the purse strings, maybe she'll think it's worth it to at least go and visit the place.

You may want to try for the Douglasville Cultural Arts Center or Arbor Connection

Oneal Plaza is very inexpensive. I think it is only about $200 to rent it.
