what are your thoughts?
Could be inconvenient, but i also thought a lot of people may be off from work already.

    My sister got married the day after Thanksgiving here in New York and it was awesome. They had a non-traditional thing - we walked with them to city hall (offices are open that day) and saw them wed, then there was a reception. It was one of the best weddings I've ever been to. I think a lot of people would love the excuse to skip all the traveling to see out of town families, too!

    I think its great - in the last three years I've been to 2 weddings the day after and believe this one - I have a wedding this Wednesday, the DAY BEFORE Thanksgiving.   So its becoming more and more a viable date.

    I just booked for 11/26  so the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We got an amazing discount with our venue - we wouldn't have been able to book there any other time of year. The hotel prices are a little higher but everyone is already off so it's easy for them to travel.

    I'M SO Psyched  TO KNOW THIS IS NORMAL! I WAS SUPPOSE TO GET MARRIED NEXT YEAR AUGUST BUT DECIDED ON MONDAY I'M DOING IT NEXT FRIDAY! SO SO PSYCHED! Everyone thinks im crazy but I'm just a spontaneous type of girl! woohoo!
