Hi!

Update on the phone- it all worked out, and some how my H managed to make it so we're only out of pocket 27 and I got the new iphone5. We had called apple to find out about my apple care and they never knew we existed. BUT we paid for my phone to have apple care, so needless to say sprint ate 275 bucks

Any weekend plans? We are going to visit H's nana tonight, she was transfered to hospice last night and the doctors say it'll only be a week or two. It's sad, she's been blind for over 25 years, and she has no quality of life anymore, but it still stinks, the past five years have been rough, first H's grandpa and two years later his grandma, last year his father and now his nana. *sigh*

No too much going on for us this weekend. FI parents are comign tonight and we're going to meet with our RD caterer. Tomorrow FI and I are going over to have dinner at his two elderly employees house. They're very sweet people.

I think that's pretty much it for our docket!

Britt, so sorry to hear about H's nana. That's nice that your're going to spend some time with her. Thoughts and prayers. It doesn't feel like Friday, I'm so busy this weekend. Time to get caught up on work and school. And finish moving (hopefully), we still need to get all our backyard stuff so I'm hoping the weather isn't too cold this weekend.

Brit, I'm sorry about your H's nana. Enjoy that time with her.

FI's last grandmother passed a few years ago and we just happened to be in Biloxi (where she lived) when she was moved to hospice. We got to see her twice while she was there and she passsed the day before we had to leave. FI was so grateful for getting to see her one more time. She was his last grandparent and the only one I ever got to meet, so it was special for him even though it was sad. Her e-ring is the ring he used to propose to me and it means the world to him to see it on my finger. A small reminder.

Britt, so sorry to hear about H's nana. I hope her time in hospice care is peaceful.

No real plans this weekend and I couldn't be happier. This is the first weekend in quite a while that we can just relax.

Happy last day, Edie! Are you sad to leave or more anxious to move on? I guess you knew that this would be happening, so at least you get a heads up.

I have all day off where I was going to start working on planning my fabulous grandmother's 80th Birthday, where everyone (aunts & cousins) were invited to get together last week to get the ball rolling. Aunt 1 did not attend, but it now saying that she is doing the hall & the food & the decor (everything). This is the infamously tacky aunt who also generally flakes out and absolutely can not afford to put enough money in to the party to make it nice. It wouldn't be too expensive (we were planning on inviting around 100- she's got a larg family) split 5 (5 children) ways, but fine... if she wants to take the reigns, whatever. I just feel bad because it's going to come down in flames and my grandmother will be the one with the awkward and tacky party.

It sucks- I feel so bad for H's step mom- she's been through so much with losing her husband of 25 years, and now her mom- it stinks!

So I got a FB message this morning about my 15 year high school reunion. I had to read it more than once because I couldn't understand why they would be planning a 15 year reunion already. So I did the math and, sure enough, 2013 marks 15 years since I graduated high school. Where did the time go???

This is how he gave it to me since she had the enhance soldered on. We've since had it taken off so that I can get a wedding ring.

I love it. The sentimental value of it makes it even more special.

Took H to the airport this morning then went straight to work out. And now I just got to work and I'm exhausted. Can't wait to be home and just relax.

Britt. So sorry about H's nana. That sucks. I really hope my Grandma can make it to my wedding. She is the only grandparent either of us have left. She is 94! I am going to FI lab/office to use his computer to do the precourse for my ACLS. I have the actual course tomorrow and then we will go to a Mardi Gras parade.

cfn - I love it! Have you thought about what you're going to do for the wedding band? Will you put the other enhancements back on or will you choose something different? The ones she had were very unique. I don't think I've seen anything like.

Brit - Sorry to hear about H's Nana. It's always really tough dealing with things like that.

Lls - this past November I had my 10 year reunion. It was strange but fun. I was a little disappointed more people didn't show up though, even when I knew they lived fairly local. Ours was mostly organized through Facebook too.

Edie - I'm jealous, I want doughnuts!

Tonight H and I are going out to dinner with my parents, brother and SIL to celebrate our birthdays. We're going to a nice italian place. I'm really looking forward to it. The diet will go out the window this weekend!

Her enhancers were custom made, so they are one of kind. I think I've pretty much picked out what I want (clicky). Fi is being very fickle on what he wants though, so we haven't ordered anything yet. We were going to use the enhancer to melt down and make FI's ring, but it isn't enough gold. So his mom wants it back since it was her mothers and she's going to make it into something for herself.

Hey all.

Typing to keep my body temp up! It's -50, and the k-7s schools are closed and we're not. The temperature in my room keeps dropping and I've been told that when it gets this cold the sensors in the building have been known to malfunction, setting off the fire alarms. Last time it happened, kids ended up in hospital. But we're open!

Midterms start today, and that totally messes up my schedule for the next week. I'm also supervising the extra time kids this afternoon, and they don't have a time limit. Someone was in an exam over 5 hours last year. I so don't agree with that. There needs to be a limit.

So basically, I'm freezing my a$% off and have an entire afternoon of supervising that could go on well into the evening. I do get a pee break at 230 though...

No weekend plans that don't involve blankets and long underwear! :-)

The two outside ones are onyx and the inner one is ruby. It's neat, and very different from what most men choose as their wedding ring. It's definitely not traditional. H is very out going and has a bold personality so it totally fits him. </div><div>

Jenny - that is insane. I can't even imagine weather that cold.

I think I am going to buy some warmer pjs. FI always turns the heat down at night and I wake up in the middle of the night freezing. For some reason he is perfectly comfortable in his boxers.

Thanks, Buzz! I love it!

I got around here later today than normal. We got our W-2's at work and FI is all over me to figure out my refund. It's usually pretty good. We're putting our refunds towards the wedding and HM, so we are trying to get numbers dialed in and whatnot.

I'm going to another wedding expo on Sunday and I'm off Monday so I have some errands to run, that's about it.

Britt - I hope you love your iPhone5, I think they're great. I have tried going away from Apple for my phone and just cannot do it. I do wish they would compete a little better with some of the newer, larger HD scree phones. Sorry about FI's nana.

CNF (is there a nickname for you yet?) - your ring is gorgeous and I love the infinity ring band.
