Utica, NY Area Brides Help!

Hello all-

I am a out of town bride getting married in Utica, NY. I grew up in Utica but moved away a few years ago I am so out of touch with the hair and makeup professionals in the area. Ideally I would love it if they would come to my house. Does anyone have and recommendations?

    Hmmmm.  I've been going to the same girl for years, I usually go to her but you could call and ask.  Her name is Cassie and she works out of Grippe's Hairstyling.  I have a good customer who just last week mentioned that she would go to a client rather than having them come to her.  She owns a salon called O'Hair in Washington Mills (may be listed in New Hartford).  Her number should be easy to find on White Pages.

    i'm not sure how helpful I can be for you. I'm planning on getting my hair done by a girl that's friends of my FSIL she works at Cheveux salon in New Hartford, so maybe try there. Also, I heard a recommendation of Serendipity, also in New Hartford, they come to the house I believe. For make-up, I'm having a friend do it, so I don't know of any.

    I am also having Grippe's Salon do my hair and my BM's.  The lady there is the one who teaches Cosomotoly at BOCES here.  She has a professional make up artist also....not sure whether or not I will be using her though. And...word is that we are getting a Sephora soon in Sangertown.
