Highland Manor, anyone?

I recently heard from my Hair dresser that Highland Manor's restuarant went out of business. My fiance and I have not been contacted about it. We are thinking about just finding a new place. Does anyone know anything? Is anyone using them currently? HELP!

I gave them deposit and they never told me they were closing. Now I have $1,500 in limbo. I have no idea where to go from here.

Has anyone received their money back?

I received an email from Tanya Barker from the perfect wedding guide, tanya@pwg.com or 407-619-6231, saying that the highland manor has closed.  They offered help those brides who have booked.  I'm not sure what they would do but it is worth a try.

They are completely closed down...  in another post, a bride posted a link from the news paper...

The article stated, ".....Highland Manor had events, including dozens of weddings, booked through December 2012. Anderson said people with scheduled events should contact the city, which will try to help organize at least some weddings for which large deposits have already been paid. But he also suggested that people who used a credit card to place a deposit dispute the charge; the city, he said, can provide documentation of Highland Manor's closure."

Hope that helps anyone who already paid money.  Also there is a name and phone number for one of the owners.  He was stating for brides to call him, but it has been reported by brides who have tried to call that they leave voicemail and no answer.  Perhaps he has called them back by now.  Still work a shot.
