what have you done/plan to do lately

I've been feeling like i've done NOTHING WR lately. I'm trying to get little things done because I am too lazy to do anything else.. haha and i only have little things left to do..

this week:
paid venue off
finished buying the rest of the gm gifts
purchased the rest of my frosted votives
decided on what kind of centerpieces i want
started calling local growers for flowers
cut new paper for menus/table#

need to:
finish napkins
buy more flameless candles
go get FI actually fitted for his tux and possibly change tux style
buy a circle punch
make mock up of tablenumber/menu
start escort cards
figure out music for ceremony
make something to let bms know i'll be paying for their makeup

also, my mum and dad both offered to give us money for the wedding. :) My mum's financial situation is really bad and the fact that she offered is amazing. She put $125 in my bank account and said she'll do that for the next 2 months before the wedding. Every little bit counts. We're pretty excited!

    Hooray!!! Congrats on all your checks this week!

    This week I:
    - Stamped the wrapping paper for GM gifts and wrapped them
    - Bought the paper for the programs
    - Scheduled fitting for today (hooray!)
    - Emailed all vendors to confirm dates/times for day of
    - Coordinated all final payment for vendors (to be paid next week)

    This weekend I plan on:
    - Printing all the wedding programs
    - Putting together all the OOT guest gift bags
    - Having a fitting for my dress
    - Working on the father/daughter dance
    - Wrapping the card box
    - Packing all reception decor

    Yeah, I haven't been doing anything lately.  I got my dress last week.  I have been serious about getting in shape, finally.  And working on passports.  That's about it.

    In the past week, I:
    -had a hair/makeup trial & booked her
    -got e-pics taken
    -worked on invites (a lot)
    -paid off my venue
    -scheduled a walk-through with my DOC

    Working on:
    -getting the invites out (it will happen tomorrow)
    -a ton of other stuff.  I am concentrating on invites right now.

    In the past week:
    -worked on likely guest list
    -bought a cute dress for engagement photos!
    -started tweaking my budget

    Next week:
    -I'm going to meet Austin Beaver, and cross my fingers he's not as expensive as people say he is :)

    sarack, what size of circle punch do you need?  FI got us a 1" punch but what we really needed was one that was a little smaller.  It's a good one too, the fiskars squeeze kind that doesn't hurt your hand. 

    If you would like it I'll sell it to you for $5, half price.

    well, as of today, we have exactly 3 months until the wedding!!! i thought my to do list was supposed to get smaller as the wedding got closer... if anything, it's getting much bigger!!! ahhhh!!!

    In the past week, I:
    ordered (and received!!) all the paper lanterns
    got my passport taken care of
    finalized the bridal shower guest list and sent it to my MOH
    bought my shoes
    bought the vases
    priced out flowers for everything
    tested directions for the invitation inserts, and started designing them
    did a mock up of the centerpieces
    helped a BM pick out her shoes
    got the delivery date for my wedding dress (next friday!!!)
    finalized all the cake stuff
    got some more addresses


    in the next week:
    we're registering this weekend
    shopping for the guys' suits
    shopping for e-pics outfits
    FI is talking to his parents tonight about the rehearsal dinner
    buy paper for direction cards, finalize design, and print
    tanning!
    get hard core about working out! i leave for PV in 7 weeks, and our wedding is in 13!!!
    send in a check for the cake
    go over guest list with Dad and finalize
    finish getting all the addresses
    find new makeup artist
    *hopefully* start addressing invitations

    I am very happy to still have just under a year to go, so I can sit back and relax and play with the puppy we got this Wed.

    I was working on narrowing down to a couple of places for the RD to go over with FMIL.  I think I will get back to this next week.
    I am also asking 3 of my friends to be in our wedding party (yes, I know it is super early, but I want to, and it is hard to get the 3 of them together, and a meet and greet with my new puppy is a great ployWink) this weekend.

    I swear I posted and it's gone :(

    This week we:
    *booked the HM
    *found a dress to wear to my shower this Sunday
    *bought the fabric to make my shoe flowers out of
    *mailed off my shoes to get dyed
    *FI got started in earnest on the playlist

    My to do list is pretty darnn sizable still so I  won't put it all here:
    *FIGURE OUT WHO'S DOING MY HAIR!!!
    *Get FI to try on and reserve his tux
    *Figure out Guest Book
    *Get together with my dad to work on ceremony
    *Make those darned pomanders
    *Start baking!

    This week I:
    - Finished assembling, stuffing, addressing and mailed invitations *huge sigh*
    - Finalized cake order
    - Paid for alterations and scheduled fittings

    I plan to:
    - Order wedding bands
    - Assemble my thank you cards with my mom next weekend
    - Begin to think about who I want to do my hair
    - Finalize menu
    - Finalize and order guestbook photobook

    Lately I have...
    * recieved our engagment pictures and ordered a book of them ( before I actually made our guest book using them)
    * bought 2 white dresses onling through JCP for shower and rehearsal (hopefully  they are cute and fit:)
    * Called BM and arranged for everyone to get ahold of their dresses
    * Booked B-pics with Jenny GG
    * Booked hair and make up trial
    * Booked meeting with DOC
    * Booked 1st dress fitting with Darcy Martin
    * Booked a meeting with caterers to taste appetizer and see mock up table display


    I plan to...
    * Move
    * Attend all those appointments and  pick up my custom earrings
    * Work on getting a base tan:)
    * Finish card box
    * Start paying vendors
    * oh and so much more!
