Spa/Bachelorette Party Ideas near City Ave

Hi Ladies!
My girls are planning my bachelorette party for Philadelphia the weekend of March 1. Hotel has been booked through my one girlfriend' s company (great rates!) on City Ave. We would like to day a spa day Saturday morning/afternoon followed by a nice  dinner and then some sort of entertainment. We are all late twenties so not really interested in the club scene, would love a unique show to see or even a laidback bar with some dancing (live band or dj)

so, ladies, since we are from the Harrisburg area and my sister hasn't lived in the City Ave area for a couple years, I was hoping you could provide spa and/or restaurant and entertainment suggestions for our weekend.

    I don't know of any spas in the City Ave area/near that hotel. The area is tough - there's not much around there other than chain restaurants. That said, I just went to Antoinette's Spa in Paoli the other day for an awesome package my fiance bought me, so I highly recommend there. Basically, what I'm saying is that you should plan to drive at least 10-20 minutes into or out of the city to get a good spa.  I don't think you'll find what you're looking for within walking distance of your hotel.  Plan a night out in CC and get taxis back to the hotel.  It won't cost you more than $30 to get back and it's worth it to be able to branch out a little.
