We just bought a train case to use as our card box from Etsy.

We also bought a few glass bottles for our centerpieces from Home Goods.

What are you buying/bringing to decorate your venue? I was just wondering what all I should have there.

  - Signs to point people around the property
  - Centerpiece bottles for the flowers
  - Card box
  - Time capsule guest "book"
  - Sweets table containers (trays, dishes, etc.)
 
What else comes to mind?

    Oh I would love to know more about your time capsule guest book! 

    I'm bringing the same things as you. In addition, Mr. & Mrs. signs for the back of our chairs, cake stand (tree stump), photobooth props, fabric bunting, favors/escort cards, programs. That's all I can think of right now!

    Ah yes! I want Mr./Mrs. signs as well. Plus favor bags, escort cards, programs... We are still brainstorming out the specifics of the time capsule guest book. I've seen so many cool ideas!

    We have paper lanterns in two colors (green and yellow,) milk bottle glass vases and dried rose petals for the centerpieces, a birdcage for cards, a tree slice for the cake, a wishing card guestbook, Mr & Mrs sign for our table, table numbers, strings of lights, a homemade felt flag banner- I think that's about it!

    I have to keep checking this thread because I am still trying to figure out all of my decorations.  I know what we are doing for certerpieces, but haven't really found a card box design that I like (we aren't having a wedding cake so I don't really want to do the wedding cake shaped one).  I am planning on getting some frames and getting some signs printed at Staples for people that say stuff like "cards here"  "guestbook"  stuff like that.  I am having people sign a mat that will go around a picture of us for the guestbook.
