Caligraphy on the Outer Envelope?

So traditionally all the envelopes would be address with caligraphy both inside and out. Ours are folders with belly bands so no writing on the inside. Would it make a difference to you the reciever if the envelope was hand written/caligraphy or just a label/from a computer? We aren't planning on sending out invites till January so i have plenty of time to address 100 invites but what are your thoughts? The rest of the invitation is completely handmade and printed by us if that makes any difference.

Don't use a label, either hand address them or send the actual envelope through the printer.  I think there was a post yesterday from someone who had used clear labels, and then when to a lot of effort to make them appear to not be labels and wished they had sent them through the printer.

If you decide to print them using a computer and have word processing software (like Microsoft Word, you can usually get a free trial of Word or WordPerfect), learn how to use the mail merge feature.  Basically you set up the addresses the way the program recognizes them, and hit print and it does all of them.

Either hand address or print directly on the envelope.  Labels are for bulk business mail.
