Church name change?

I've seen some catholic churches that are named X Catholic Community instead of X Catholic Church. The church my fiance and I attend mass at used to be named St. Denis Catholic Church and now they have changed their name to St. Denis Catholic Community. Have any of you seen this or know why they are changing the names of the churches?

the only thing i can think of is that St. Denis Catholic COmmunity is a merged parish, meaning that the St. Denis Church absorbed the parisioners of other area churches who had to close, and by calling it "community" indicates that there are other parishioners who attend there - not just st. denis church parishioners.

There is no canonical difference, and technically, their name through the archdiocese I'll bet doesn't call it that. It usually is from some attempt to bring people more into community and sound more inviting.

As long as it is a Roman Catholic Church, I don't see any issue.
