Does anyone know anything about Mark Louis photography? I heard they were supposed to be good.   I was wondering what kind of pricing they have.  I am supposed to meet with them next week, and I'd like to know what I'm walking into!

    You should be able to get priving info right from the photographer via e-mail or phone....I definitely knew all of the price points of photographers I met with well before our meeting.  I used their pricing to narrow down the photographers I wa really interested in from the ones I wasn't.  You can probably contact this guy directly about that. 

    If you want to check out other photographers, let us know your budget; the girls here are great about giving you recommendations.

    That's part of the reason I was nervous about the pricing - she would not tell me on the phone or email! She is making me go in the studio to "explain" the packages and pricing!  I wanted to keep it under $3000, but this lady wouldn't give me a hint even haha

    I had a photographer do this. It was the first one I met with so I thought they were all going to be like this. AND it was a photog that was a friend of a friend kind of situation.  She made me come in and do the run around before showing me her overly expensive pricing and not all that unique photos. Needless to say, she was not booked by me.

    Oh and you said you want to keep it under $3000, well Sharyn Frenkel, the photog I booked has good packages in that range.

    It's been a year and a half since I research photographers, so Im sure prices have changed.  I do know that Marc Anthony (who gets rave reviews here) and Rich Lavigne can definitely work with your budget :)

    Not sure how you personally feel about the photos on Mark Louis's site, but in my opinion with your budget and this board as a resource you can do WAY better.

    If you want to keep it under $3000 then don't waste your time going to see Mark Louis.  A friend used him last year and she spent around $8000.  I know she went all out with her package, but I don't think you will get much from him for $3000. I am using Sharyn Frenkel too.  She has great packages!
