Restaurant Room Rental for Reception

Hi,

Wee have decided to rent a room at a restaurant to have our wedding reception. Does anyone have any great suggestions for a great restaurant that has a room to rent. We are expecting between 40-50 people. We are on a tight budget and can not afford a traditional reception venue. Any suggestions would be great. THANKS!!!!

    What area are you looking at?  Where will your ceremony be?  That will help narrow down suggestions.

    I am doing my at 5120 Restaurant and Onyx Bar. It's a really pretty space and affordable. Jen is the coordinator there and is lovely to work with. I highly recommend them!

    Happy Gnome in MN can do wedding receptions in their upstairs room. They're very flexible and can do almost any food.

    Saint Paul Grille at Saint Paul Hotel has smaller rooms that would work well for rehearsal dinners!  My sister and her DH had their RD there for 80 people and it ended up being a better deal than Happy Gnome, surprisingly.
