about the centerpiece/decor for the sweetheart table! Originally FI and I weren't going to do a sweetheart table, but after much thought, we realized that was the best way to handle things without separating couples. I have an idea for decor that hangs from the table, but I didn't plan for anything on the actual table.

Are you doing any special or separate decor from the rest of your centerpieces? Or are you doing the same thing as the others?

    I am going to my florist tonight to talk about this.But basically we are going to just have an empty vase that I am going to put my flowers in and some votives thats all.
     the table isnt very big

    I have seen some brides take their bridesmaids bouquets and put them all around the table.

    I didn't get a centerpiece for the sweetheart table.  I'm planning on putting the bridesmaid bouquets around our table.  And maybe some votives.

    I'm not having a sweetheart table, but the bridesmaids bouquets look nice when laid flat in a semi circle around the table like PP mentioned. then do some votives maybe... it's nice if you're able to be seen and not blocked by a centerpiece

    I am not putting anything on our sweetheart table.  Honestly, I don't want anything sticking up and blocking my view or the guest's view of us.

    We aren't having a sweetheart table, but our head table will just be us with the best man and MOH. We are just going to have the girls bouquets and mine laying along the front of the table.

    For our sweetheart table I'm just using my bouquet and the girl's bouquets in vases, I don't really care about our table.

    I had the same concerns, as several PPs mentioned, about the centerpiece blocking the view.
    I didn't realize that putting the bouquets on the table was a thing, but it's a great idea. I have yet to make the bouquets, but I think I might keep that as an option. Thanks ladies!

    I think we will just have empty mason jars (we're using them for our centerpieces) and put the bridesmaids bouquets in them :)  Also, we may have a bottle of wine not sure..
