I've seen some posts about this on summer boards, but I was wondering if fall brides were thinking about putting these suckers on. Any thoughts? I'm leaning towards 'no'.
I'm going with no. I'm worried i'll be too hot. If it ends up being super, duper cold that day, first I'll cry (ha!) and then I'll wear them and hope it doesn't totally effect my shape differently, because I haven't heen wearing them for fittings.

Definately not. I despise their existance and I don't want to worry about them running, which they ALWAYS do when I wear them. And I don't want to fight with them when I have to pee.

Oh I don't think so! I am not a pantyhose wearer to start with so I didn't really question it much! Plus my dress has layers of fabric and is so hot! I don't think I would be able to handle another layer of fabric!

I'm having open toed shoes too, but my decision is more based on trying to get the hose down to pee, while holding up God knows how much dress material. No thanks!
I get cold easily, and am wearing close-toed shoes and big heavy dress, but still think I'll wear panyhose. I don't have a problem with them, especially since I bruise super easily and it helps hide the skin imperfections (not that anyone will be looking at my legs that day). I always prefer thigh-highs/ garter belt, though. Not as annoying as the "over-the-butt" variety, and a little sexy
I was forced growing up to wear hose or tights every Sunday to church. I have not worn them since I was 13 and will not wear them ever again if I can help it.
Nope, no hose!! I prefer tights to hose if I have to wear any at all, but I won't have them on for the wedding! I will be wearing spanx or something similar though because I get hot easily and my thighs stick together. I don't want to be battling chafing during the wedding and on my honeymoon!!
I'm planning to wear them. My dress is tea length, I am usually cold and I am not wearing open-toed shoes. I might take them off before the reception if I feel like I will get hot dancing. I hadn't thought about peeing though. My dress isn't long but the skirt is pretty full so that is definitely something to think about.
Pantyhose are the DEVIL! I hate those suckers! I hated them when I was a child and I had to wear them for dance recitals. I was probably 7 the last time I was forced into a pair and never intend on wearing another..especially not with that many layers of ruffles! Its already going to be a task just to pee!

No,no,no. I despise pantyhose. I have thigh length spanx that I will be wearing under my dress, both to smooth my tummy and to keep my thighs from chafing.

I wear them fairly often - I am wearing them today and it's a thousand degrees outside (ok, not really, we are currently at 110). I doubt I will wear them at the wedding, simply because I will be wearing an open toed shoe and don't have toeless hosiery. However, I may find some, just in case it is too cool for me

I just had my fitting this past Saturday and my thighs were sweating. I will not be adding more fabric on top of that.
