Advice from June 2012 Ladies

Hello June 13 brides,
           I am a June 12 bride, and we were talking today about seeing if you lovely ladies (and if there are any gents, out there, the gents) would like advice from us.  The June 2011 brides gave us advice right before June last year, and it was very helpful. Please respond to this and let me know so I can let the brides know. 

On a side note, Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you are all almost a year away. This last year  goes by very, very fast, so take time with your FI and enjoy the last moments of being engaged. It is wonderful, and stressful at the same time.  Good luck in all your planning.  Laughing

    What are some questions to ask a DJ when meeting with them? I am just about to set up a meeting with a DJ but I honestly have no idea what I should be asking them to figure out if we are a great fit!

      When meeting with a DJ it is best to meet with them in person to see if your personalities match. You also want to make sure they have a variety of music and know how to read a crowd. I would also ask if they have  a fee for set up and take down. I would look at many different DJ's before you pick one, they might try to tell you they are getting booked fast (which could be true) but you should neve feel rushed when making a choice. <div>

    Personally I think the post-wedding would be best BUT might be more difficult for you to get together (with honeymoons and such and well, not everyone will come back to talk about it).

    If it's no problem though, I think some post-wedding advice would provide some good insight.

    Would be interesting to hear your thoughts before the big day and then what you would say afterwards (if anything changes!)

    Either way, I am really happy to have you guys on board =) Such a great idea and I'm sure lots of us would love to hear what you guys have to say before and after!
