Plus-Sized

shrugs?

i'm having a hard time finding a shrug to fit my bigger arms. i wear a 2x but when i find a 2x it doesn't fit around my arms. even a 3x is a little snug.

any ideas or places that have some good options? my wedding is a month away..

They have a white one, but they only have an 18/20 left.  I have found their sizing to be quite generous.  I usually wear a 16, and I was able to buy a few 12s from them. So, it may be worth a shot.

<div>yeah. i'm going to go to the store to check it out. see if they have a white one. but i doubt it. :(</div>
  • Actually, be positive. :)   If you look down at the bottom of that link, it says that white is available in stores, just not online.

Get there as soon as you can, or call your local store.  Sometimes that will take a few weeks to receive, so you are going to want to get that ordered ASAP.

<div>ok so i went there & they didn't have anything. she said they could order it. the only one the could order before my wedding was a size 22. that is 2 sizes bigger then i am. i'm worried about the arm width but fingers crossed it works outs.</div><div>
</div><div>when i ordered my wedding dress i also ordered 2 sizes bigger & it worked out. just had to get it sized down a little.</div><div>
    </div><div>thanks for helping! :)</div>
  • a size 22 will mostly likely work. The sizes on those types of items didn't seem that dramatically different to me when I tried them on.  :)

    Good luck!

I know I'm probably really late to the game on this since your wedding is approaching very fast... but maybe this will hellp someone else.

I saw a picture of a bride on WeddingBee and absolutely loved her shurg and asked her where she got it and that's the site she gave.  They're all really reasonablly priced despite probably having to pay higher S&H out of Canada. They go up to a 4x I believe too.   I've got one pinned on my Pinterest that I plan to order if I am having tan line issues in September.

    Hope this helps someone!!

<div>i actually bought 2 from there for my may 18th wedding. they are quite nice and comfortable to wear. the lace is not scratchy. i bought ivory and light purple. not sure which one i am going to wear yet. i'll determine that when my dress comes in!</div>
