Gals, I have a wedding headache

I keep hitting dead ends and going in circles as far as where we're going to have our ceremony, it's been weeks and iv exhausted myself for the day, whew....going to hop Ina bubbly bath polish my toes and pour myself a nice glass o wine! I picked up a new polish called lilac lace, in the Clarence section mind you..score!! perfect for spring!

The one thing I learned the internet is kind of deceiving. If you can check the venues in person, I know you said your in S Fl planning wedding in another state so have someone go there and take pix. If I went based off of the internet I'm not sure I would be at my current venue, the online pix were ok but in person I was blown away and every time I pop by the venue (an yes I have just popped in lol) I feel more confident in my choice.

Same sitch! Our venue for the reception is blah online, and in person WOW! We chose it while in town for xmas, it makes me nervous because we were so cramped on time during the holidays and I see all of these venues that are amazing online! But ik once I see it again in person I'll know we made the right choice..I guess I'm getting frustrated because FI and I arnt very much church people, enough so that we don't feel comfortable have a church wedding. A butt load of the ceremony sites we can find are either already booked, don't do just ceremony's ( you have to hold reception there also) or are outside which is awesome but if it rains then well have to add a tent to the whole already chaotic scenario, it would be alot easier if I were there and as far as having people look for me, well my mother has horrible judgement/taste (if the place smells like poop and has mold on the windows shell think it's good to go!lol) my sister is so unreliable to the point where shell offer to look for me but then says to make an appointment and shell let me know if she can go or not an hour before hand (ugh!) and then FMIL just had spinal surgery so she's immobile for the next month or so.

http://www.sailingcenter.org/facility_photo6.html The sailing center, FMIL then stated 'oh look at the windows and fluorescent lights' which I don't see having a problem with, but we'll have to dress the room since its so bare, and be responsible for rental of chairs and clean up and yadi yada. Plus a $500 refundable deposit. Lol we like it, its just difficult not being able to see it in person....our venue is cuvée in Milwaukee and I was hoping to find something to somewhat 'match' if that's even possible, I'm probably just being a nutty perfectionist

I love the sailing center!!! I tried googling your venue and nothing came up for me... If you are considering the sailing center look at it as a blank canvas and you can make that space anyway you want granted it may be more $$$... I don't think you are being a nutty perfectionist you are just a bride who wants her special day to be perfect...

Aww thank you, FMIL just got under my skin when FI and I decided that place would work out when she had to add her two cents about the windows and lights. Then she talks about not spending too much money on things but suggests a place tht cost 2500 and says decorating that room (which is only 400) would be too much.

I didnt want a hotel due to restrictions on vendor choice so I chose a newly built community center. It is located in a park so outside is only so-so but inside is beautiful
