Was in my Cousin's Wedding. Had a blast! Watched the Vikes now I'm sick!

Went to Oktoberfest in LaCrosse! Had a blast at the parade, drank some beer, failed at hammerschlagen, and spent most of yesterday hanging out watching the Vikes.

WR: showed my FMIL the pics of my dress, the BM dresses, and flowers

WR: Just met with a florist for an initial consultation and bought some random stuff for decorations at Michaels, man that place is dangerous.

NWR: Got to catch up on some much needed sleep! FABULOUS I also did a wine tasting/grape stomp in Stillwater with a few friends yesterday afternoon. Whata gorgeous day it was!! We had a really fun time!

FI headed up north to Tettagouche for a long camping weekend. It was perfect. Never have I seen such beautiful colors. Lots and lots of hiking and campfires. We also go the marriage license out of the way. Weird to write my new name.

I tried to make it a nonWR filled weekend. One last hurrah before everythign starts to crash in on us. Got most of my final meetings scheduled with vendors and will get the payments rolling this week. First shower this coming weekend - woohoo.

WR - We got the rest of FI's clothes for the day of, which was a tad more difficult that we thought. Why don't more stores carry a variety of french cuff shirts? Anyway, he'd bought a new black suit, and he got a shirt, vest, tie, and pocket square for himself, and the shirt, cufflinks, and tie for his best man.

NWR - We got our camper put away for the winter. =(

Jeff got laid off, so not the best weekend for us.. It was just a temp job while hes doing his pilot training and we knew it wouldn't last too long, but expected it to go into November at least. He was super upset about it, cause we really need the money, so we just kinda relaxed around the house this weekend. I did my best to cheer him up, and I think he's now pretty positive about finding something else right away. At least heres hoping.

WR: made my last bridesmaid necklace, got our e-pics back and now we need to decide which ones to use for the STDs and have 8x10s printed.

NWR: went to brunch at The Independent with a friend (who's also a BM) then spent more money than I should have in Uptown. At least I got a Xmas gift for FI and kichen stuff I'll actually use. I'm a sucker for kitchen stuff. Besides that, I just hung out at home and caught up on some old movies off the DVR. TCM is my crack.

All in all, it was a pretty decent weekend.

I had my bachelorette party Friday night. My friends "made" me do different shots - one for each letter in his last name plus one for his first and middle initial. Each shot had to start with that letter of his name. It made for some create fun but was 6 shots in all (plus other bar patrons added a few more) so I definitely had a slow day on Saturday.

My girls were great though! We played a few games at home before we left, then a "male dancer" came and danced around me while I was handcuffed to the chair. He was more than fully clothed - he was dressed as a sailor and had a mask on so I wouldn't recognize him. He kept it clean and no clothes were removed, but I still figured out who it was. It was hilarious. We then headed out into town. We had a blast.
