What to wear!?

Tonight they are having this awards ceremony for this city wide fitness challenge that Curves participated in.. I'm going (Actually I told my boss about this because a party that I went to after the parade was attended by our mayor and the mayor and I are pretty much BFF's. haha, I actually typed up the email and sent it out for him because he'd forgotten his glasses and couldn't see to type it on his blackberry), but I don't know what to wear. Curves will be recognized (Our team walked 5,000 miles in 8 weeks) so I'm not sure if I should sort of dress up, like dark jeans and a blazer, or wear Curves gear like jeans and a Curves shirt...?

I would go for the dark jeans and a blazer, because it's not too dressy, and I would rather be slightly overdressed than underdressed.

You could always wear a curves t-shirt under the blazer, or under the shirt that you're wearing under the blazer, and if you when you get there you realize that's a better choice just take off the blazer.

Definitely dress up! It's always better to err on the side of too formal than too casual.

Ok, this may be a wild idea... but if you have a pencil skirt, and if your curves shirt is fitted, I would wear that tucked into the pencil skirt, and wear a blazer over it.

This is what I did for my bridal shower ("bride" fitted tee, black pencil skirt and a cardigan with cute matching flats.)
