My mother died last week, and my wedding was 4 years ago.

What the heck does this have to do with the women here?

Oh gosh, Donna, I am so sorry for you loss!  I lost my mom 10 years ago, and sometimes it feels like it was yesterday, other days I feel like it was hundreds of years ago since I've talked to her, I miss her that much.

Anything I can do?  Say? You have my e-mail and I can send you my phone number if you need to talk.

Looks like a vendor post to me, though.

So sorry, Donna.  I lost my Mom in 1972.  No getting over that one.

Ooops - my post came off as an AW.  Thanks for all your sentiments - Mom had been sick for a while, and so this is a blessing.

This post just ticked me off - as if the fact that SW brides don't face enough discrimination - to have someone assume that we are more suited to MOB contests -- SW brides are real brides.  And while some of us have mothers still with us - some of us are more mature and have mothers who are older- or gone.  This post was the discrimination -in -your- face on one place where we work hard to eliminate it.

Some of us have daughters (and sons) old enough to marry as well, but such a generalization frosted me. Sorry for sounding like an AW.  ~Donna

Sorry for your loss I can't even imagine not having my mom to call all the time!

I read the post yesterday and just ignored it but I do understand why it would make you upset! I love the frosted comment you don't get to use that expression very much.

Sorry about your mom Donna. I felt the same way about this post when I saw it yesterday. We are the brides, why are you here?

OMG Donna, I"m so sorry.  I must admit that post might be in very poor taste if some of us our missing our moms for any reason.  I had the same thought as alphabride.

I just keep trying to report it.  Maybe if we all tried a couple of times to report it, then this bonehead will get banned.
