Some of you know that H and I were TTC and it had been taking a while longer than we thought. I had went ahead and made an appointment with an NFP doctor for next month to talk about infertility and what was causing my irregular cycles. My regular ob/gyn wanted to put me on meds, but H wanted to wait until we saw the NFP doctor. My regular ob/gyn had told me to start charting which I had been doing for the past month. So on Sunday morning, I took a HPT and it was positive. I took another one today just to be sure, and it was also positive. We are both so excited. We have already told our parents, too. I go to the doctor for my first prenatal appt on March 4. We are thinking a mid October baby.
Even with irregular cycles, you really can determine a lot from charting and taking your temperature. I am just so thankful that we acheived pregnancy on our own.
