Casual rehearsal dinner - Falmouth

Hi!

We're looking for a summer rehearsal dinner venue in Falmouth to accommodate 30-35 guests. Since the group is so big, we'd like a more informal setting so we can interact and have fun. Does anyone have ideas?

Thanks so much in advance!!

We're having ours at British Beer Company.  Great atmosphere and location---right on the ocean.

We're doing BBC as well. Perfect room for about 35 people.  Very casual, and still has the ocean view from across the street.  And they're SUPER flexible!

Thanks so much, you guys! Coincidentally, we looked into BBC before I got these messages, so I'm really glad to hear your endorsements. With best wishes to you both.

Alas, unfortunately they don't do functions on Fridays or Saturdays in July and August. Any other ideas?

Try the Beach Club in Mashpee.  They are right near Poppenesett and same management.  It's very casual, sits on the beach, about 50 feet from the ocean.  Call Wilma at New Seabury CC and tell her Jen sent you!

You can "rent" Goodwill Park, which is on a pond in Falmouth. But that would be just the space, it has picnic tables and BBQ things. You'd have to cater it tho. H's family had a big reunion there about 10 years ago.

Have you looked at the Flying Bridge at all? Coonamessett Inn has a small room downstairs that has a patio overlooking a pond. We had our wedding there and loved it.

The Casino Wharf F/X is another choice...or the Falmouth Yacht Club. Those are all the most scenic places I can think of. They can probably be as casual as you make them.

I don't know if they rent any space out but the Raw Bar is fairly new and right on the harbor. You can also try the Nimrod. Quarterdeck on Main Street has a room downstairs. That place is old-school Cape, so could be kitschy fun.

I am not sure if Woods Hole is to far, but the landfall is nice and very casual also try Shuckers!

over near the flying bridge is a nice big grassy area where you could throw some tables or a tent. not sure who'd you'd have to contact for that though. maybe town hall?? orrrr we are renting the tent space at the flying bridge. its outside the resturant right on the harbor. nice and breezy and relaxed!

    Hi everyone!

Thanks so much for your help! We're getting married at the Flying Bridge or else we would have definitely considered it a great RD location. We've finally decided on the Friday night buffet at Coonamessett Farms. It's a vegetarian buffet with pulled pork, perfectly eclectic and fun. Ron is incredibly helpful and accommodating. We can't wait for our picnic in the garden!
