Where to find bulk flowers in Pittsburgh.

I am trying to find a bulk supplier for flowers in the Pittsburgh area.  Every where that I find online is an actual florist and I am looking to just do them myself.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    There are some online vendors you might want to consider - fiftyflowers.com is the one I've heard the most about, but there's also a bunch of others - click here.

    Costco, Giant Eagle, Whole Foods, and Community Market are good options if you want to buy in a physical store rather than online.

    Are you doing your own flowers because of a cost issue? I was initially going to do the same and then found an absolutely wonderful florist in the South Hills area and got all of our flowers for $600. Up until then people kept scaring me saying how every florist has a $1500 minimum and that I should just do them on my own... and this place was right under my nose but I never thought to call them. Let me know if you need their info :)

    Val Brooks is another reasonably priced florist (check the vendor list).  My quote came in right at $600 for all my flowers, and she just did dbpsu's wedding if you want to see pics.

    I am just fearful that if I hired a florist that they would substitute the flowers that I was wanting.  If I did them myself, I would know for a fact that they would be what I wanted.  I am open to suggestions though.  @ MissBrightside, could you send me over this Florist's info please?
