Invitation wording

How does this flow?

Mr and Mrs Bride's parents
invite you to join
Mr and Mrs Groom's parents
as we celebrate
the wedding of
Bride's name
and
Groom's name

Bride's parents are paying for the wedding but bride wanted both parents names to be prominent.

Typically when the brides family is hosting it goes as follows:

    Mr. and Mrs. Bride's Parents
request your honor (or invite you to join)
as they celebrate the wedding of their daughter
    Brides name
    to
    Groom's name
son of Mr. and Mrs. Groom's parents

    date, time, location, etc.

If the bride really feels strongly about having both names at the top, even if it goes against convention, I think they way you've written it is really nice!

I'm having the same issue, I think this is what I am going to end up with:

    Mr. and Mrs. Bride's parents
request the pleasure of your company
at the marriage of their daughter
    Brides first and middle
    and
    grooms first middle last
son of Mr. and Mrs. Groom's parents

I don't care for it, mostly because I don't understand it. I'm not a stickler for tradition and am perfectly open to unusual invitation phrasing, but this one just doesn't make any sense to me.

I'd go with the "son of" wording in this case since his parents aren't contributing or if you really want both sets of parents at top, just the traditional:
    Bride's parents
    Groom's parents
    request the...

This is how I wrote it:

Bride's Father and Bride's Mother invite you to rejoice
at the wedding of their daughter
    Bride
    and
    Groom
son of Groom's Father and Groom's Mother

I think the following flows better:

    Mr and Mrs Bride's parents
    and
    Mr and Mrs Groom's parents
    invite you to celebrate
    the wedding of
    Bride's name
    and
    Groom's name

But I really think it would be better if you stuck with "son of".
