  Where are you looking to have the reception? I see that your in Jersey, are you looking locally or elsewhere? I am having my reception at a restaurant on the water in south Florida. I need to bring in my cake, my DJ and my own decorations if I wish, the rest is included. I only have to cover the catering per head cost, which we have around $65, though we haven't completely worked out the details. That cost includes an hour of open bar, a glass of wine with the meal and champagne toast.
  
  Now if you're looking for Jersey, I can tell you that I went on vacation to and worked at a Bible conference center on the bay on Long Beach Island. They have a beautiful lodge on the water, and if you're guest list fits the space, would be a really nice location. http://www.hcbible.org/ I don't know if they do weddings traditionally, but I know my friend is getting married there in January. Of course, her dad runs the conference center and is the mayor soooo...lol. Bonus is there is a chapel on site. Let me know if you want more information, I'd be happy to talk with my friend about whether they do weddings and if the lodge there is an option for the location. The lodge is directly connected to the dining hall and kitchen.
  
  Oh, did I mention that on the second story of the lodge there's a tower that overlooks the bay? Its beautiful
