Where should I being looking for Florists?

So my wedding is in Sedona, Az and I live in Phoenix, which is about 2 hours away. Should I be looking for florists in Sedona, where I would have to drive 2 hours to the appointments, on in Phx, which is closer, but than the flowers would have to travel for 2 hours to Sedona.  What do people think?

    I think you should try your local board. They would be able to help you out better. This is an international board. GL!

    I'd purchase the flowers where you will having the ceremony...   you want the flowers at their freshest as they'll be out of water a long time depending on how your day is scheduled. Also, there is always the risk of damage during transport.  I only had to make one visit to my florist to choose the flowers and decide on how they will be put together... the rest of the consultations happened over the phone (confirming availability of my chosen flowers, changing the number of corsages, and finalizing prices).

    Ask your venue coordinatior... you can most certainly plan most of your things on line and by phone with a florist that knows your venue and can make suggestions.
