Would do:
-Definitely have a destination wedding! It was the best decision we made. We got to spend pretty much a whole week with everyone, it was so much fun! The place was gorgeous, we got a lot of beautiful pictures and everyone was thanking us for choosing Vallarta. Not one complaint!
-Have a small wedding. We had less than 20 people (3 canceled last minute, long story) so we could actually spend quality time with everyone. From doing tours or just hanging out at the beach and pool, and being able to go to the restaurants without making reservations. It was perfect!
-Go to an All Inclusive. It was great not having to worry about money and just having whatever we wanted at any time. Everyone was drinking all day but no one got really drunk. Ben and I actually had all of our meals there, we didn't spend any money on food outside of the resort, the food there was amazing!
-Wear flip flops at the wedding. I had high heels but never actually wore them! I was so comfy I kept my flip flops on for the whole day! No one could see it anyway!
-Have parasols and fans. Everyone was thanking me for getting them, it was soooo hot! And they look great on pictures.
-Get a cigar roller - That was a huge hit!
Wouldn't do:
-Worry about the weather. I'm glad the weather was perfect, but it rained the night before and I was a little worried. I just had to remind myself I couldn't do anything about it and I just had to go with the flow!
-Like Britt said before, overvalue the little details. I was so worried about getting bubbles for the ceremony and no one used them!
