Venue Help

So my wedding is not until May 2013, but I am looking for a nice venue in the Durham, NC area.  Our budget is around 1500 with the opinion of bringing your own cater.  I have my mind on Marbles, but I just dont know.  Help anyone with ideas

    The Mordecai House in downtown Raleigh is $600 for 8 hours.

    Marbles is neat but the main area is more than $1500.  I was not that impressed with the smaller space that was $1600.  Also the chairs are blue so if they don't match your decor you'd need to cover them.

    You could try the botanical gardens associated with UNC-CH.  I think their rate was around that (though it caps at about 100 people). 
    You could also try 111 Realtor place, which is in Cary.

    Try triangle sertoma clubhouse, We were planning on getting married there this september, but instead are having a beach wedding may 2013 :)  Its technically in hillsborough, but its impossible to get lost getting there.  They are 1200 including a refundable deposit, for all day, have a beautiful gazebo outside, include tables and chairs, and outside catering is allowed as they do not do any catering.
