It depends where in Stonington you are looking..if you want the stonington side of mystic, you can check out some of the downtown mystic restauraunts- S&P Oyster, Steak Loft, Go Fish- however, there's not a TON of places further into Stonington.

We had ours at The Fisherman in Noank and it was delicious! Not sure if that's too far for you though?

Like prior poster said, Mystic may be a better option.  It also depends what type of feel you want.  Stonington Borough has Skipper's Dock and Dog Watch which are both very good and put you right on the water.  Good luck!

Dog Watch is wonderful for a date but wayyy to small to host a rehearsal dinner, unless you're talking a 10 person affair.  Plus they do not have any private rooms, and it gets quite busy and noisy in there.

S&P in Mystic. Upstairs has a beautiful view of the river. Daniel Packer Inn...good food. Agreed, Dog Watch is too small and noisy.

DPI is also a great option and they have a private room.  There's also Skipper's on the water as well.  DPI is in Mystic but a bit off the beaten path and Skippers just in Stonington.

Ditto that Dog Watch is fun but too small and noisy for an RD.
