  I need to do a super clean in our house too. It has been neglected with the holidays.
  
  I have to work tomorrow night at Bdubs but it isn't that big of a deal since it is the Packers/Vickings playoff game while I am working. I also work again on Sunday, but someone asked to take my shift, which I will probably let her.
  
  Our tree has been taken 95% down. FI just needs to take it out of the house. All the decorations have been off since Monday so I am getting really impatient with him not taking it out of the house!

  This weekend is a bridal extravaganza with some awesome friends! Tonight, I'm going wedding dress shopping with my mom at a Brides Against Breast Cancer sale. I'm going back to that tomorrow but with a bunch of friends, and then on Sunday, I'm going with the same friends to a bridal show. It should be hilarious.

  This week has taken forever.  I worked extra all three days and I too have a house that is gnarly. So here's to hoping I have a low key weekend full of scrubbing, organizing and a bit of exercising.

  I plan on relaxing. I need to clean my house too. I start a new job on Monday so I juSt want to make sure I am relaxed!

  I ended up taking off on Friday at the last minute. My family has (had?) a beach house in Long Beach Island, NJ, that sadly was hit by Hurricane Sandy. On Friday, I went there with my parents (it is about 2 hours from our home in Northern, NJ) and we took out any last belongings we could before the crews come to rip everything out (wearing blue face masks and rubber gloves!)  We were able to save some random decorations that were on the walls and some other items that were above the water line.
  
  We first went to check out the damage (not knowing if there would be any) last November, but I still cried as soon as we got onto the island and saw all the other homes and businesses with so much garbage out front, and then cried again at the house. I guess I'm a sap, even though I totally knew what to expect.  
  
  Today, Saturday, the house was ripped apart. My parents were talking to the crews over the phone, but I can only imagine what it looked like.  I took a lot of pictures yesterday (Friday) of all the mold and really nasty furniture (that was once beautiful). We had just finished a kitchen remodel with tile floors, blue granite counter tops and new cabinets. No more...
  
  Today, I had 3 of the girls from my bridal party come over today to work on craft/knitting projects (with mimosas, cheese, brownies and other goodies!) and we ended up going to try on the bridesmaid dress again (one hadn't seen it in person yet) so that was fun and wedding related and spontaneous! I have also been spending some time on PinkPrincess.com and have basically decided flower girl dresses!
  
  Tomorrow is food shopping!!!!
