  I'm so sorry to hear this. I kept thinking about the brides this weekend in the tri-state area. So much goes into a wedding and to have it all pulled out from under you at the last minute is unimaginable!  Good Luck, I hope you guys can find another venue quick and use all your vendors! Hang in there!  We all know people have it way worse with losing their homes and or loved ones, but you are allowed to be sad/upset about this.

  Sorry to hear that but I can sympathize with you.  We were supposed to be married today in Spring Lake.  Our venue still has no power and people just can't travel easily in the area.  Also, a large portion of our guests are still without power so many of them probably wouldn't have made it anyway.  Thankfully our venue had no damage and has a date available in the next few weeks so we are able to reschedule.  On the bright side, we decided to go on our honeymoon as scheduled so we'll be leaving town before next week's storm rolls in.

  You two aren't alone.  My wedding was also cancelled for tomorrow in Mt. Arlington.  All of my family's flights and hotel rooms were cancelled and the reception hall has no power and had to toss all the food.
  
  We're gonna push it back to next October.  Really want a fall wedding and with the extra year we can do it bigger!

  hey girl im so sorry to hear that were you getting married at windows on the water? that is where I am supposed to get married and i could not find info on how they fared . Was the venue destroyed or just the town around it??

   i saw pictures o sea bright in general and it looks so devastated

  wow ladies, I'm incredibly sorry that many of your weddings have been effected or cancelled by the hurricane.  mythoughts are with you and i hope that when your wedding day does happen it will be the most amazing day of your lives.  good luck

  :-(  As a resident of one of the nearby towns, it sounds like it will be some time before Sea Bright is up and running.  You may need to consider a venue in another town.  I'm sure many venues will be sympathetic to brides who's venues have been desroyed by the storm.

  I'm so sorry to hear.   
  But at least you are ok so that is positive.  Hopefully you can find another venue and have your wedding soon. 
  
  My wedding is planned for October 19, 2013 and I'm getting nervous.  Big storms during the same week...two years in a row.  A little too close to my wedding date.  Makes me nervous.
  
  
  Side note: I hope everyone is safe and managing through this difficult time.  We still have no power at my house....lost it Monday evening during the storm.  It's getting cold!  brr!
