HELP! FONTS for invites??

PLEASE suggest some free fonts for wedding invites........my mother's computer has so few options to choose from and I'd like to get some ideas from other knotties.

Also curious if many of you use 2 different fonts.......one formal and cursive font and one plain-type font for other details in the invite?? HELP with both of these!! I found a great cursive font but am very stuck about which font to use on the majority of the information in the invite!!! Want it to be classy and look nice without being TOO much cursive and too hard to read.....THANKS GIRLS!!

Re: HELP! FONTS for invites??

  • I would go to dafont.com and you can download fonts. There are some really pretty ones that I used for my invitations.
  • Ditto dafont.com.  I got the three fonts for my invites and the three or four for my STDs off that site, it's brilliant.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
  • I also recommend dafont.  And yes, I used a script-y font and a block font (Passions Conflict and Minerva Small Caps), but those aren't free ones.  I think Aquarelle is the free version of Passions Conflict.
