Cello version of the theme from Beauty and the Beast. It's always been my favorite movie, and I identified with Belle a lot growing up... and with all the facial hair, the fiancish (we're getting married and have set the date, but there's no ring on the finger yet, so I can't quite call him my fiance!) vaguely resembles the Beast. :P
It also fits well enough with our relationship--the lyrics, that is, even though we'll be using an instrumental version. "Barely even friends, then somebody bends... unexpectedly."
We didn't care much for each other when we first met. :P When we did finally start to date, it was after we'd grown into a strong friendship, and we were scared. We had to make some changes in ourselves (positive changes), but now that we've got our rhythm, I couldn't be happier. (Unless he did the dishes a little more often. Or maybe some laundry. :P)
Sad fact: One of my very best friends plays the cello beautifully, and I asked him to play this for us... unfortunately he says he won't do it, because he wants to sit in the audience and watch me get married. Which is totally understandable, but still. I'm having a very DIY (read: budget) wedding, and am hoping to have friends/family fill most of the roles. I was really hoping he'd be willing to do this for me, but I'm not going to let it get me down. I'll find someone else, or hell, just record him playing and use an iPod.
How long should my processional last? I'm not sure how long the "aisle" will be, but somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 people will probably be invited. Would/did you have the same song playing for everybody (attendants and whatnot), or a separate song for the bride?
