Hello ladies! I have a question about flowers. I have no real frame of reference when it comes to flowers – I know what I like and what I don’t like and can name the basics on sight (roses, tulips, daisies, mums, etc…). Otherwise, it’s Remedial Botany 101 for me! Anyways, I met with a florist last week and she quoted me $75 for each bridesmaid bouquet and $125 for my bouquet. I’m trying to keep costs down, so no orchids or lilies for me. My wedding is in November of 2013, so all bouquets will have a fall feel, full of reds, auburns, oranges, golds, etc… My bouquet will include roses, hydrangeas, small sunflowers, something that looks like green soybeans on a vine, some leaves to give it that not-so-round feel, and a few other flowers that slip my mind. My girls will have similar bouquets – smaller, obviously, with a smattering of white/ivory roses whereas mine will be pure color – no white/ivory. So, is the price she quoted me reasonable and on par for what flowers should cost? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated – thank you!
