I hope everyone had a great weekened!!!
The days are getting closer for most of us to be under 100 days!!!!! Double digits baby!!! How exciting and scary at the same time!!!!eek!!! ha ha
What is on the list of to do's for this week? WR? NWR??
Have a good one!!
Re: Happy Monday!!!!
So this week my goal is back on weight watchers and I am joining a gym! I am ready to get myself into wedding day shape!! Also I will be printing envelopes and ordering some stuff for the centerpieces. My mom and I worked on these yesterday and decided what we want to do so I will post a pic once I have one!
Happy Monday everyone!
Oh and my bridal shower is on saturday
I am almost done with addressing our wedding invitations. My mom mailed out the shower invitations last week.
We spend Easter with FI's family and his mom surprised us with a big check for expenses so we will be able to add some things to the menu and get the draping that we wanted!! Everything is coming together sooooo well.
Another thing on my list is to order flowers from fiftyflowers.com. I am going to be doing that this week too!
I will be at 100 days in 10 days, now that is freaking me out a bit since I am thinking off all the stuff that needs to be done.
I am trying to figure out how to print on my wedding invitations but it comes out so low on the envelope! Does anyone have any pointers to center the address?
I am also trying to finish those frames. If and when I see the last of those frames finished I am celebrating!
Other than that, It is my FI Birthday on Thursday so we are going to to CT for the night and going to Foxwoods Casino and staying there since that is what he wanted to do.
Carpet cleaners are coming on Wednesday and I am so excited. The house was so dirty and we haven't touched the carpets so who the heck knows what's in there, YUCK!!
Going to buy postage stamps today after work and get started on our invites!!
This week is going to be NUTS! My MOH's wedding is Saturday!!! Lots to do!! I just finished my speech and now I'm all kinds of nervous about getting in front of all those people... eek!
WR: I'm finishing up our invite addresses this week! FI is off on Thursday so I'm sending him to the post office to weigh our invites so we can order postage. I also just contacted our hotel to get shuttle upgrade options since the one provided for free just won't have enough room for everyone... another added expense.... ugh.
NWR: We had our house inspection over the weekend and they found a mold problem in the basement. If the sellers refuse to take care of it or reduce the house's price to cover the cost... we may have to walk away. We just can't afford the additional expense. I really hope the sellers take care of it.

How bad is it? Did they give you an estimate of how much it may cost to take care of it??

I hope they take care of it. If they don't do you know about how much it will cost to get it fixed out of pocket?
k8888 - What a huge pain re the mold issue. DEFINITELY do not move into a house with mold issues that haven't been ameliorated. Those issues are brutal.
colleen - ME TOO. Definitely need to hit the gym hard!
WR: MY DRESS IS IN! My mom is going over to pay the rest of the amount to the dress store so that I can set up my first appt for alterations! I'm so nervous but excited. We also finalized the catering contract over the weekend and fiance picked out the tuxes at the store. Need to call my priest to tell him our ceremony choices and begin in the ceremony programs at some point before our VP groupon expires.
NWR: Work and hopefully going to the gym. Nothing exciting.
colleen: DITTO! so scary how soon everything is coming up...I need to be better about sneaking cheat meals/sweets in!
ceglare: which dress did you order from bebe???? I got my shower dress there and I LOVE it. I am still searching for my rehearsal dinner dress too!!
Weekend was great. Fiance did some random wedding stuff but mostly just relaxed, cooked for each other, watched an amazing Julia Roberts marathon on O (Erin Brockovitch AND Pretty Woman, all in one night). Had some nice Easter celebrations with my family yesterday!
This week will be pretty routine work-wise. We are hoping to go see some more houses later this week! Not much going on but I am kind of excited about it! I am booked every single weekend in May so I am glad we have some slowness in April to balance it out.
Oh, but next weekend, my mom and I are going to try on my dress, try on some veils, and figure out what I am doing accessory wise!
The inspector said it'll cost roughly between $5-8k to clean it up pending the results of the mold test he sent in. It's not the black mold, but the whitish mold that a lot of basements have, but most people don't even notice it. (It's on the ceiling of the basement on the wooden floorboards). He said even though it's a dry basement, the sellers should have installed a dehumidifyer years ago for preventative measures. The sellers have no idea they have mold, either.
I have a feeling they'll take care of it, because even if we cancel the contract, they're going to have to fix the mold to re-list it anyway..... and they just went under contract on the house they're purchasing, so losing us as a buyer would be really bad for them.
[QUOTE]Thanks, girls... it's just so nerve-wracking because this stuff is all new to us. Fingers are crossed!!
NWR - I have a good friend from college coming in town to visit from Iowa on Thurs-Mon, so super excited to see her since I havent seen her since her wedding a couple years ago. She is 5 months prego now and will be missing my wedding, but looking forward to spending time with her this weekend.
WR - I am hoping to work on and finish my bridesmaids picture frames and our ring bearer's gift. On Friday, I am going to the bridal shop to try on the dress with my jewelry and order special undergarmets for the dress. I am excited to see my dress and have it on again! YAY.
NWR - My daughter's 10th birthday is Wed. I cannot believe how time flies! We're taking her out to dinner on Wed and then on Sat is her party. Ice Skating and sleepover! Cannot wait for all the joy she will have. I love seeing her little smile!
Hope everyone has a wonderful week!
Oh goodness...this week not much to do! I really want to get invites cut. Hopefully FI will be up to helping me!! (I'm not a very good straight cutter! ha ha...FI is precise & patient when it comes to that teehee!) Also, need to put all due dates in order...
ummm, I am not sure what else will be up for the week! Hopefully lay out by the pool or go to the beach...not quite sure!
