My fiance and I want to do a choreographed first dance but are having trouble finding somewhere to take classes at a reasonable price. We are somewhat all over the place on dance styles; he was thinking ballroom dance, I was thinking Irish dance (I'm very irish, he's not). We are both open to a variety of dance ideas because a choreographed dance in general has been something we've wanted to do all along.
To make it more difficult, I live out-of-town so our time is limited on when we can practice. Thankfully, I'm in Cincinnati many weekends so we know that will be the best place to find someone to help us. Ideally, we are looking for an individual or a dance studio who is able to teach us a dance in only a few (3-5) sessions.
I've gotten a lot of help from the board thus far so I'm hoping you guys have some ideas.
