Shoe conundrum! It's driving me batty!! PIP

So I've posted a few pairs of shoes that I like. I just cannot decide for the life of me!! So I figured I'd post something here in hopes that you will help me weed out my options.

This is what I am looking for: mid-sized heel, leather sole, peep toe and straps. These are requirements for me. FI and I are lindy hoppers and so we will be dancing a lot. I'm not interested in ballroom shoes because they look...well...ballroom-y. lol But it's important that I can dance in them. I also don't want to buy two decent pairs of shoes. I'd rather purchase one really nice pair that I can wear a majority of the evening.

Here we go....

Option 1:
These shoes are absolutely lovely. They fit my theme and are extremely well made. My only issue with them is that they are a 3in. heel (with a 1 inch platform, which helps) and have a stilletto heel. I would rather have a wider heel just because it's easier to dance in.

Option 2:
These are by the same designer as the previous. They go with our theme very nicely. I like that the heel is low enough but once again I worry about the stilletto heel...

Option 3:

These are cute and have the right size heel and width. But these are uber boring. I far prefer the look of the other shoes.

Option 4:

These shoes are really pretty too but really expensive. Once again, the heel worries me. I don't want to worry about slipping but at the same time it might not be so bad...I'm just not sure.

Option 5:

I adore these shoes. AND they come in a shorter heel size. My only issue is I cannot for the life of me decide what color/material to order them in if I decide on these:

champagne snakeskin (I'm not sure how the material would look for a wedding shoe):
or something blue:
And last but not least...
Option 6:
I've already owned a few pairs of these previiously as my dance shoes and loved them. I'm just worried they look too casual. The nice thing about these though is that they are inexpensive.

So if you've stayed with me for this long, could you let me know what you think?? TIA!!

  • I voted option 3, because I think they are cute and they are the right "size" as you say.  I suggest spicing them up with some pretty shoe clips.  :)

  • I voted for 5 in blue assuming you do not have a something blue yet.  Otherwise I like #1 as far as look but if you won't be able to dance in them, not worth it.
  • I'd go with option 3 or even option 6. I think function is much more important than looks in your case. I doubt most people will even see your shoes.

I am sometimes too practical though. I purposely went with a low heel for comfort and in brown (which is a wedding color) so I could wear them again.

  • I voted for #1 but with #5 as a close close 2nd.

  • I voted for option 5 in the champagne snake skin because they seemed practical and pretty.  I also love option 1 though!

  • I like option #5 as your something blue =] And the shoes are super cute!

As an alternative, I'd go with option #2 for fitting with your theme & your heel preference. (My wedding shoes [which I need to start breaking in] have a 3-3/4" stiletto heel)

  • I went with number 1. I think they are so pretty and would be perfect for your wedding theme. Just a little opinion, I think you're giving yourself too many choices (like picking a dress) and that's why you're confused. I would narrow it down to 3 or so and go from there. Just my opinion though I guess.

<div>Lol you are TOTALLY right!! </div>
  • I really like #1 and I think with the platform it won't make the heal feel so high.  I also like #4 but I always like things that I can't afford. :)  My real second choice is #6.  If you know you like them and can dance in them, then why not? They are really cute.

I was complain to FH about shoes I liked but they were off-white and my dress is white and he said, " isn't your dress so long that no one will see them?"
  • FH can't understand why I don't just wear sneakers since no one will see them. Men!

  • I think I voted for option 3 but I meant to vote for #1!

They look perfect! So long as you practice walking in them enough you'll be fine. If it were a higher heel I'd worry about the stiletto aspect but you should be fine at that height.

  • I voted for #6 I love the way they look with the wedding dress you posted. What does your dress look like?

  • I would pick #6 for comfort/dancing, and #1 for aesthetics. So I guess it depends what's more important to you.

  • I really like option 5 in blue, but I think if dancing is important to you go with the shoes that make it easiest/most comfortable for you to dance the night away!

How long is your dress? If guests will only see a little bit of your shoes, I definitely think you should go for function first!
    Anniversary
  • I chose 3, I think you can easily bling them like #4 by strassing the center strap.
