looking for a Cincinnati skyline overlook

We are getting married in Clifton at 2:30 and our reception is in Blue Ash at 6. I really want to do pictures at an overlook of the Cincinnati skyline. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where we could go? I am a little worried that there will not be enough time to drive into Kentucky and back but, I am still holding out hope!

You probably won't have time. I allowed 2 hours for my pictures (which were done on-site), and we still ran pretty late to the reception. :( Good luck!

Devou park is amazing! You will have to clear with them whether they have an event there that day, though, as it is a large reception hall. Mt. Adams might have some options or Eden park has the overlook if you don't want to cross the river. There are some interesting shots down by Sawyer point where you can see the bridges, also.

I'd just ask your photographer what is do-able!

You're going to be pushing it.

Is it possible to do some engagement pictures with an overlook instead?

Otherwise - as others have stated - Eden Park is probably a good option - especially if your wedding is soon. They have been doing construction on 75 sound - and the ramp to Covington has been closed...traffic also backs up quite a bit.

There is also the overlook at that park off of Ravine in Clifton (I can't think of the park's name) it may be a bit closer to your ceremony location.

Even assuming you're getting married at St. Monica St. George, and that it's a full Catholic ceremony, there's still plenty of time to go shoot photos.

You've got several options. Devou Park has a nice view, but would require some commuting time down to KY. Much more convenient to your location, you've got Fairview Park or Bellevue Hill Park. The latter is at the end of Ohio St. in Clifton; we shot some of our engagement photos there. Both have great views that overlook the city.

I'd recommend a trip to the parks to check them outand make sure they'll work for what you're looking for.

There are some really awesome places in Mt. Adams, which isn't too far. We took our engagements by the big church there and the view of the city is FANTASTIC!
