Are you hiring a band for your reception? Trying to decide between a band and a DJ - the two bands I've reached out to aren't available, but the Delta Knights are. Just trying to gather more suggestions/recommendations. Thanks!

Our budget for music is 1,000 so we are limited to a DJ, happy hunting though! We are still looking, haven't picked one yet

I have DJ. I just feel it's easier to control. Mafyler if u want to see whether my DJ available let me know I can PM you. Another bride from this board recommends him and so far I am very pleased with the interaction with him.

We just booked our band, Wavelenght. I just read good review after great review. I spoke to the manager and she is really great. Can't tell you yet how they will be live but I am very excited

We're using a dj.

We're using Aaron Topfer. He is a DJ, but he also plays the piano during cocktail and dinner if you like (he's apparently a professional musician too). He also has add on musician options for cocktail hour/dinner hour. I think he's reasonably priced. If you want more info, PM me.

I feel like I have the best of both worlds in this respect.

try the landing and the cityside events band. they are fantastic and have lots of energy. might be a bit pricy but not sure. good luck
