My FI proposed yesterday during our trip to celebrate our 9th anniversary! I could tell he was nervous and acting a little strange throughout the day. But he finally popped the question during our historic train ride through the mountains of Southwestern Colorado. He said he had gift for when me and it was the kind you only buy once in your lifetime. Then he asked if I would marry him.
I was definitely caught off guard and slightly panicked because we were leaning on the rail off an open air gondola train. My initial response was "oh my goodness, don't drop it!" He assured me that he wouldn't and that if he did drop it, he would be jumping overboard immediately. Then I said, "Yes."
I am elated. We took the ring to get re-sized and I am hoping to take a few photos to post soon!
